Pee Wee

After reopening of OTA’s activities in 2005, volunteers of the program drew up a plan designed to reach every child who wanted to play tennis around the national triangle. As a result 25 centres were to be launched in four years( 2005-2009) with a capacity of 40 children per centre, thus 1000 kids to be exposed to the sport. Certain areas were expected to be supported by the program while others were expected to depend entirely on OTA. As a result 25 centres were successfully opened across 17 towns in all region of Cameroon, making OTA the largest grassroot program in sub Saharan Africa.

Centres include Maroua, Garoua, Ngaoundere, Bertoua, Mbandjock, Ebolowa, Yaounde Tennis Club, Yaounde club 88, Edea, Kribi, Sangmelima, Douala Tennis Club, Douala PAD, Douala Sawaland, Douala Bonaberi, Douala Joss, Limbe, Sonara Limbe, Nkongsamba, Dschang, Bangangte, Bafoussam, Bafang, Bamenda and Bali.
